Deaf services

Harding Housing Association has three care homes in Wandsworth providing specialist support and care for deaf tenants with mental health problems. We also have around 20 people who are deaf or very hard of hearing in our general needs homes; some of these residents will move on in due course to accommodation where they can live more independently.

If you would like to apply for a place with us:

You can download this document and print it out. Right-click on the link (Mac users click and hold) and choose the 'save' command (or similar) from the pop-up menu.

Once completed the form should be sent to:

Deaf Services, Harding Housing Association, 48 Wandsworth Common Northside, London SW18 2SL

Or faxed to: 020 8874 6270

Around one third of our staff work with deaf people and all departments in Harding have the ability to communicate with deaf people using sign language. We work very hard to be deaf-friendly. Our care homes, head office departments and Church Manor estate office have minicom facilities, as well as fax and e-mail:

Head Office minicom: 020 8877 1866
Church Manor minicom: 020 7735 0637
E-mail: deaf_services@hardinghousing.org.uk

If you are interested in learning a little sign language check out the following sites. (These links will open up in a new window - to get back to our site close the window.)
