Homebuy

Although, you can't buy the property you rent from Harding, you can apply to the Homebuy scheme. The scheme is very simple. You find a home on the open market and pay for 75% of it - Homebuy provides the other 25% - repayable when you sell. The scheme is run by one Housing Association in each borough, not Harding, but all Harding tenants can apply. To find out which Housing Association runs the scheme in your area, e-mail customer_services@hardinghousing.org.uk.

Larger to Smaller Incentive Scheme

When your family grows up and moves out you could be left living in a property which has 3 or 4 bedrooms but you only use one of them. In order to try to keep as many people housed as possible, we offer a generous incentive scheme for people in this situation to move to a smaller home and allow the family home to be used by a family again. If you are in this position and interested in finding out more, please contact your tenancy management officer who will be able to give you more details. This scheme is subject to budget availability. Contact housing management or call 8871 3260 x 165.

Exchanges

Tenants are able to take advantage of moving to a different property.  There are a few schemes which facilitate this, they are:
